Current Available Positions

Tydee-Up is looking to hire Organizing Specialists for the Fairfield County, CT area. The Organizers will help residential clients transform their cluttered homes into beautiful, organized spaces that have form and function. The ideal candidate has a friendly personality, highly organized, detail oriented, and focused on achieving goals.

Work Status: Independent Contractor

Hours: Part-time/as needed

Area: Fairfield County and Westchester County

Duties and Responsibilities

Project management: Conducts on-site needs and wants assessment with clients; Develops a customized plan and timeline for the project; Provides hands-on support throughout the organizing process using the Tydee-Up approach; Implements organizing systems tailored to each client’s needs; Researches  and shops for appropriate organizing products; works with clients to help them adapt to organizing systems.

Client management: Coordinates appointments with clients; Coordinates donations for clients, researching organizations as needed.

Skills development: Stays up to date on current trends and products for organizational purposes. Pursues training in organizing methodology at Tydee-Up’s request, as relevant.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Organizing requires mental and physical stamina. The Organizing Consultant will need to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and use a step stool or small ladder. Working in many different households requires the ability to tolerate typical household odors from fragrances, pets, smoke, and work around children or pets.

Project locations and work hours will vary depending on the type of project.

Must have: access to the internet, a computer or tablet, a car, and a cell phone with voicemail

Experience

One or more years applying organizing skills; experience in project management and customer service preferred; Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferred but not required in areas including Business, Business Marketing, Advertising, Psychology, Design, Education, Architecture, Interior design)
